As the "hard rock nemesis" in the industry, cone crushers are widely used in the crushing of various medium-hard and hard materials. Since their introduction, they have been well received by customers from all parties and are one of the main equipment suitable for medium and fine crushing. In general, cone crushers are very handy crushing tools, but they will show different production efficiency in different applications. How to improve their production efficiency is a common concern.
From the experience accumulated by Zhongxin Heavy Industry over the years, there are "internal and external differences" in the reasons that affect the crushing * of cone crushers. External factors are mainly related to the processed materials, and internal factors are related to the machine itself and its use.
Mainly look at some aspects related to the machine:
The rotating speed of the cone crusher. The rotating speed of the cone is one of the important factors affecting the output. When the rotation speed is too slow, the material slides through the crushing chamber along the liner of the cone, and the time it takes to pass through the crushing chamber is long, thereby reducing the production efficiency; if the rotation speed is too fast, it is difficult for the material to be discharged downward, and the material will stagnate after being crushed, and then the material will be congested.
The bottom angle of the cone. The bottom angle of the moving cone determines the inclination angle of the moving cone. The larger the bottom angle, the more conducive it is for the material to fall freely. However, the number of times the material is squeezed and crushed when passing through the crushing chamber is reduced. The increase in output leads to a decrease in production quality. When the bottom angle of the moving cone becomes smaller, the surface of the moving cone becomes flatter, and the material falls along the moving cone lining of the crusher. The output begins to decrease, and the quality of the crushed material becomes better.
The influence of the precession angle. The size of the precession angle directly determines the eccentricity of the cone crusher and the swing stroke of the discharge port. When the precession angle is large, the eccentricity of the cone crusher and the swing stroke of the discharge port will become larger, and the material will fall more easily. Of course, the output will increase, but the number of times the material is squeezed and crushed in the crushing chamber will decrease, which will lead to a decrease in product quality; when the precession angle becomes smaller, the eccentricity of the crusher and the swing stroke of the discharge port will become smaller, resulting in a long time for the material to pass through the crushing chamber, and the output will decrease, but the material is more likely to be crushed in the crushing chamber, and the quality is improved.
The filling rate of the material. The filling of materials is closely related to the output of cone crusher. When the material filling rate is low, the material cannot fill each crushing layer, and the output will be reduced; when the filling rate is high, the material is pressed too tightly, which is not conducive to lamination crushing, and the material is not easy to pass through the crushing chamber, resulting in low output and poor quality of cone crusher.
Based on years of practical experience on site, improving the * of cone crusher mainly starts from the following aspects:
When feeding, try to fill the crushing chamber continuously. A small amount of feeding will not reduce the burden of cone crusher. On the contrary, too little material will not only reduce the product output and poor particle shape, but also cause * damage to the bearing of cone crusher. Generally speaking, the actual power of cone crusher should not be less than 40% of the rated power. If the cone crusher sometimes feeds more and sometimes less, the particle shape and product rate of the product will fluctuate, especially for cone crusher with half-chamber operation, the product will not be * in terms of grading, needle shape, etc.
Maintain the liner regularly. The lining of the cone crusher includes the moving cone lining and the fixed cone lining. The wear of the lining cannot bring out the crushing efficiency of the machine. It is necessary to check the lining regularly. The inspection of lining wear mainly depends on several aspects. If the working capacity of the cone crusher is significantly reduced, the thickness of the lining is reduced or cracks have occurred, it means that the lining has been damaged. Check the wear regularly, select 4 points around the crushing chamber to measure, and confirm whether there is uneven wear. If there is, it should be adjusted in time.
Lubrication system maintenance. Ensure that there is enough oil, which can lubricate every part, and ensure that the oil is clean. Check the operation of the oil pump regularly, for example, the temperature rise cannot be too high. Clean the descaler and check various filter elements every once in a while, and check whether there are copper scraps on the return oil filter. If there are, it means that the copper tile of the bearing is damaged to varying degrees.
The * of the cone crusher is outstanding. Just like a sword needs to be wiped frequently, the cone crusher needs more maintenance and proper and reasonable use during normal use, so that there can be a steady stream of productivity.
