Bearing lock is actually a large amount of heat generated by the crusher bearing during operation, and these heat can not be dissipated in a short period of time, resulting in a sharp increase in bearing temperature, and then the bearing lock occurs. This phenomenon is very common in the overhaul of equipment and production service sites, and the specific causes of bearing heating are as follows:
1, the bearing clearance adjustment during assembly: In actual work, many installations are only based on the feel of debugging, the gap is prone to be too large or too small, can not meet the needs of production. If the axial clearance is too small, it is easy to cause bearing heating, and even cause the rolling element to jam or glue damage; If the axial clearance is too large, the impact of the kinematic pair increases, and the stiffness decreases, which will lead to abnormal sound during operation, and even cause serious vibration or damage to the cage.
2. When assembling, the outer ring of the bearing is not properly matched with the housing bore or the inner ring of the bearing or the shaft: during the assembly process, there is no grinding of the inner hole and measurement of its size, and the new bearing is replaced for assembly, and the temperature rise is found to be too high after the test. When the test amount is dismounted, it is found that the bearing housing bore has been deformed, so that the outer ring part of the bearing is squeezed, resulting in the radial clearance of the bearing becoming smaller, the rolling element rotation is uneven, and the wear is constantly aggravated. If the clearance between the bearing inner ring and the shaft is too large, the bearing inner ring rotates with the rolling element and the shaft, and friction causes the bearing to heat up and vibrate.
3, lubrication problems: the lubricating grease in the bearing can not be too much, the amount of grease is too large, will make the frictional torque continue to increase, the bearing temperature continues to rise; If the amount of grease is too small, it will not be able to obtain reliable lubrication and dry friction will occur. Generally speaking, the appropriate amount of grease is 1/3 to 1/2 of the total void volume in the bearing, so the appropriate amount of grease should be added regularly according to the requirements of use.
